Course Outcomes

1. To understand the basic principles of economics and their application to the agricultural sector.

2. to equip students with a well-rounded understanding of agriculture, preparing them to address modern agricultural challenges and contribute to sustainable food production systems.

3. Students will gain a thorough understanding of various irrigation systems and techniques, including surface irrigation, drip irrigation, and sprinkler irrigation.

4. Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of agricultural financing mechanisms, including the various types of credit available to farmers, such as short-term, medium-term, and long-term loans

.5. Students will gain a thorough understanding of various agricultural marketing channels, including direct sales, wholesale markets, cooperatives, and online platforms

 6. Students will acquire analytical skills to evaluate the socio-economic and policy factors contributing to agricultural problems in India.
